Hey folks, thanks for dropping by, always a pleasure to see you!!

Im back in Berlin, on  a little mini tour of Germany. I played the Stramu festival In wurzberg, hanging out with friends of mine Mark Gillespie and Thomas Drost , and Sam Menzies from Australia...

a stopover in berlin, and then on to Hildesheim for the pflasterzauber festival there. Should be fun, theres already 3 or four good friends of mine gonna be there and some fresh blood as well.

 Its been lovely to get out and about in Germany again. Everything so neat and healthy, cute little toy towns and parks for sunbathing in every city. I love this german sense of pragmatic healthfulness, all the bicycle riding and skinnydipping, fresh fruit and yoghurt.... berlin is a pretty distinctive place though. It feels like it could be anywhere in the world, so much cultural mixing and graffiti splattered city sprawl.

 Last night I went for a little walksy around, and ate in a delicious indian restaurant.  There was an evil sprite of a woman who lurched over and snatched papadams off my neighbours plate, eyed the rest of the tables and lurched off again, cramming the food into her mouth in one big handful. no-one even blinked!!

Next up was a charismatic young man who tried to convince some middle aged ladies next to me to buy his own cds, not one but five he was trying to sell them! It didnt work, but it was true showmanship in the flesh and the ladies were totally charmed by him.

 Anyway, im enjoying myself and even flirting with the idea of one day moving here...
