Hi Yáll and welcome. Gearing up for the berlin lacht festival which starts tuesday in alexanderplatz. Let the outrageous and spontaneous fun begin!!! I have to drag myself away from my loop machine and a new song that is bubbling and flowing out... its called water, its about our primeval roots... So if you are in berlin come down, and if not check the myspace for dates where we can see each other. Summers almost over, not too many things on there but... And i wish i could promise photos but as always thats in the hands of lady luck see if theres any great photographers out there that can capture the moment and send em to me!!!
We had a FANTABULOUS time at TFF Rudolstadt which is a really cute folk festival here in Germany.. It reminded me of Woodford back home, with so many different corners and so many folky folk. We got to see some big name acts, but actually I prefer the smaller ones that you spontaneously catch on the way somewhere. I think some other people did too, we had amazing crowds and a very affirming response which is so necessary from time to time for every little fish paddling in the vast ocean. So we are delving into berlin, looking for its hidden treasures, hoping to become one for a while, to be a part of this pulsing artistically vibrant place. Its saturated in moments, amazing art spilling out onto the streets. Last night we went for a walk and discovered, about 20 metres from our front door, an amazing football field sized park full of people having picnics and drinking, it was like a festival right there! with no music... until we arrived of course! Most people spoke spanish which was nice, Ruben felt right at home. Anyway folks, Ive got a little suprise... a free download of one of my best songs.
